TeachingLessons

Kuang Zhou with fellow musicians

I value a supportive environment where students build strong fundamentals and learn to listen to one another. Instrument setup, bowing and rhythm belong within the experience of making music together, with every student encouraged to contribute.

From September 2023 to January 2024, I worked as a student music teacher at Minhang District Experimental Primary School in Shanghai. I taught music and beginning string skills to approximately 20 students in grades 3–5 and prepared an end-of-term performance involving the whole class.
